Polilimnio waterfalls & river

attractions greece

Polilimnio, meaning 'many lakes' in Greek, is a 3km walk next to a river that takes you to several lakes and mini waterfalls. At the end of the walk you will arrive at the Kadi Lake and the biggest waterfall with a 25 metre drop.

The photo of the Polilimnio waterfall was taken during the summer months, showing that there is still water even during hot periods.

There parking for Polilimnio is located at the start of the walk, where there is also a snack bar open most days.

The walk is not particularly difficult, but sensible shoes should be worn and care taken as you will encounter some slippery parts and slightly more challenging. It is not accesible for pushchairs.

At the Kadi lake you can take a swim, the waters are very cold! But dont forget to take you swimsuit, during hotter months, if you want a refreshing dip after the walk.
